What to Expect From the Movie| Terminator 2 Synopsis

This movie is the second part of the Original Terminator movie. It starts from the conflict between Skynet, a malicious artificial intelligence, and the human rebellion that turned Earth into a wilderness by 2029. The T-1000, an upgraded design, shape-shifting Terminator, is sent back in time by Skynet to murder John Connor, the head of the rebellion, while he is a young boy. The rebellion sends a modified, less capable T-800 Terminator back to defend their leader.

A chase starts when both terminators approach John in a marketplace. The T-800 and John both manage to escape from the T-1000. They catch Sarah as she tries to escape and runs away because the T-800 looks like the Terminator who came to murder her in the year 1984. After convincing her to assist them, all of them flee from the approaching T-1000.

Dyson explains that the broken CPU and amputated limb from the Terminator from the year 1984 served as the basis for his study. All four of the characters break into Cyberdyne’s premises to destroy their work, so they take the CPU and the arm and set off explosives to blow up the lab. The cops storm the premises and shoot Dyson dead while the bombs go off as he passes away. The T-1000 chases the remaining trio until it surrounds them in a steel factory.

While the T-1000 fights and mutilates the T-800, deactivating it by damaging its power generator, Sarah and John split off to flee. The T-1000 impersonates Sarah to draw John out, but Sarah fights it by firing at it continuously and forcing it onto the end of the platform, which is situated above a tank of hot molten steel. Sarah runs out of bullets, though.  The T-800 was reactivated utilizing its other power source and fired a rocket missile at the T-1000, causing it to tumble into the molten steel and explode. To stop its Central processing unit from acting as a base for Skynet, the T-800 says that it must also be eradicated.
