What is the story of the anime?
In the year Ad Stella 101, the Vanadis Institute created “GUND,” a brain-computer interface to help humans survive in space. With funding from Ochs Earth, this technology evolved into the “GUND Format” for military use, resulting in powerful “GUND-ARMS” mobile suits. However, these suits often crippled or killed their pilots.
The Mobile Suit Development Council, led by top companies, banned the GUND Format. Delling Rembran of the Benerit Group sent a team to destroy the Vanadis research facility, killing everyone except test pilot Elnora Samaya and her daughter Ericht. Survivors were ostracized, and female developers were labeled “witches.”
In Ad Stella 122, 21 years later, Suletta Mercury transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology, run by the Benerit Group. She meets Miorine Rembran, who seeks to escape her father’s control. Miorine is engaged to the top duelist, Guel Jeturk. Suletta, with her forbidden GUND Format mobile suit, Gundam Aerial, must prove herself as a pilot at the academy.
