What is the story of the anime series?
A thousand years ago, the Six Dark Lords nearly led humanity to extinction until the Six Heroes emerged and defeated them one by one. The last of these Dark Lords, the Undead King Leonis Death Magnus, was finally defeated in 447 of the Holy Calendar but protected his body with a powerful barrier and cast a resurrection spell. He vowed to return in a thousand years to conquer humanity, fulfilling the mission given by the Goddess of Rebellion.
In the present day, a young girl named Riselia Ray Crystalia discovers Leonis’s mausoleum and unintentionally breaks the seal. Leonis awakens after a thousand years in the body of a ten-year-old child. Mistaken for a refugee, he is taken in by Riselia and sets out to understand the changes that have occurred in the world during his long slumber.
