What is the story of the anime?
Gorou Amamiya, an obstetrician-gynecologist, is assigned to deliver the children of pop idol Ai Hoshino. On the night of the delivery, Gorou is murdered by an obsessive fan and reincarnated as Ai’s son, Aquamarine “Aqua” Hoshino, with memories of his past life. Aqua’s twin sister, Ruby, is the reincarnation of Gorou’s former patient Sarina Tendōji. Four years later, Ai is killed by the same fan, prompting Aqua to infiltrate the entertainment industry to find and kill his father, whom he believes was an accomplice.
Twelve years later, Aqua and Ruby, now high school students adopted by the owners of Ai’s talent agency, pursue careers in entertainment. Aqua seeks to find his father, while Ruby forms an idol group named “B-Komachi.” Aqua discovers his co-star, Taiki Himekawa, shares the same father and learns that their father might be actor Hikaru Kamiki. Ruby finds Gorou’s corpse, learning about his and Ai’s murderer. Their mutual distrust grows as they manipulate each other in their quest to reach their father. Aqua creates a film to draw Hikaru’s attention, leading to Ruby landing the starring role and both siblings realizing each other’s true reincarnation.
