What is the plot of Red Eye series?
Richard Armitage plays Dr. Matthew Nolan, who attends a medical conference in Beijing. Shortly before his return flight, he is involved in a near-fatal car accident. Upon landing at Heathrow, a bewildered Nolan is arrested for the murder of a woman allegedly with him in the car, though he insists he was alone.
Nolan is extradited to China to face charges, escorted by DC Hana Li (Jing Lusi), who is displeased with both the assignment and Nolan. However, when someone dies on their flight, Hana realizes she’s caught up in a deepening conspiracy.
Meanwhile, back in his home country, Nolan’s situation draws the attention of his sister, journalist Jess (Jemma Moore), who starts her own investigation into his extradition. Concurrently, M15 head Madeline Delaney jeopardizes her career to protect Hana and Nolan and uncover the conspiracy that appears to involve elements within both the Chinese and her own government.
