It explores the initial dismissal of the allegations by victims in the UK.
Glitter’s criminal activities came to light in 1997 when child pornography was discovered on his computer during a repair at a Bristol PC World, leading to his arrest. Although he was not convicted of sexual assault charges in his 1999 trial, he was found guilty of possessing child pornography and served a short two-month sentence before fleeing to Southeast Asia. In Vietnam, he was arrested and convicted in 2006 for sexually assaulting two children.
