Sony’s second trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has broken viewership records. Not only is it the most-viewed trailer within the Spider-Verse franchise, but it also holds the record for the highest viewership of any recent Marvel film’s second trailer within 24 hours and the most-viewed superhero film trailer this summer.

Across the Spider-Verse is the first of two planned sequels to the 2018 Oscar-winning animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which grossed over $384 million worldwide.
