House of the Dragons is a prequel to the fantasy-based famous drama “Game of Thrones”. The series tells the story of the Targaryen civil war, 300 years before the events shown in GOT.
As Showrunner “Ryan Condal” confessed to AFP that it had been hard to end the original series. However, “its prequel is a new deal.”
The 10-episode-based drama got launched at the world premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The director of numerous hit episodes of Game of Thrones, “Miguel Sapochnik,” assured that viewers would have a positively different experience. He further said House of dragon’s screening gained a huge welcome at Academy Museum Los Angeles.
House of the Dragons focus on the peak era of Throne characters like the Targaryens, whereas the original “Game of Thrones” series covered multiple families of Westeros.
The new prequel cast includes Paddy Considine(King Viserys), Matt Smith(King’s brother Daemon), Alicent Hightower(King’s wife), Milly Alcock, and Emma D’Arcy, plays the younger and older version of (Princess Rhaenyra), Olivia Cooke(Princess Rhaenyra’s best friend)
