Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness is the new obsession of Marvel fans. While the movie is being released exclusively in cinemas on the 6th of May 2022, which by the way is just a few days apart. Disney+ subscription holders will have to wait a little longer for the movie to get on the app.
This assumption is based on the previous releases of the Marvel Company on Disney+.Ā Eternals was added to Disney plus 68 days after its theatrical release, while Shang-Chi was added 70 days after its theatrical release. Both films were released on different weekdays, indicating that Disney does not appear to have a preferred day for releasing Marvel pictures on the platform. As a result, we may expect Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to premiere on Disney Plus between July 13 and July 15.
So our best guess for the release date of Doctor Strange is July 14 for Disney+ and home video.

Even though our guess comes from careful observation, it is important to note that Disney+ has not yet announced an official date. While Disney has sped up the time it takes for films to be released in theatres before being released on Disney+, each film’s release is still handled on a case-by-case basis. That is pertaining to how well it performs at the box office. Think it like this, the more successful a film is at the box office, the longer it takes for Disney+ to release it.
If Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness follows the same pattern as its predecessors, it should hopefully arrive on Disney+ in mid-July. Though it isnāt unlikely to be until nearer the time.
