Westworld season 4- Trailer

Westworld season 4- Plot

Many familiar faces from Westworld season three are expected to return for the upcoming new season, including Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Luke Hemsworth, Jeffrey Wright, Aaron Paul, Tessa Thompson, and Angela Sarafyan.

Before getting to the plot of season four, let us briefly summarise the previous season’s storyline. The Delos Inc. operated several theme parks in the 2050s, populated by the ‘hosts,’ which refer to the biomechanical robots unable to be differentiated from the humans. The story starts when these hosts malfunction, causing the Westworld massacre.

The producers shared a rough plan for the storyline of the new series. Since the hosts left the Westworld park in the earlier episodes, season four is expected to be the endpoint of everyone’s favorite sentient robots. The story is more about what Bernard (Jeffry Wright) would explore on his trip to the theme park., Charlotte’s (Tessa Thompson) plans for her host army and other related stories. The producer bosses narrated that this time the audiences cannot expect the survival of human characters, as this season would portray the unmatchable mortality of the hosts on a whole different level.

Lisa Joy narrates that this season would be a fantastic mix of a samurai, war, and a sci-fi movie- different in the genre but tightly attached to the previous seasons’ structures.

The Ratings And The Reviews

Westworld season one and two received a tremendously positive response from the critics, particularly praising the show’s visuals, acting, and the story. Rotten Tomatoes rated the show at 87% out of 100, while Metacritic scored the first season 74 out of 100.

However, the reviews were mixed reaching the third season, as most people thought the story to be too dragging with a blurred plot. Still, HBO is pretty confident about the upcoming season, claiming it to be a treat for all the Sci-fi fans, with an incredible storyline, suspense, and comeback.

Why is Westworld a good show?

Westworld is an American Sci-fi series produced by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, based on an old series created in 1973 with the same name. Westworld season one had the highest viewership ratings, thus becoming the most-watched show ever on HBO.

The show’s story is based on a futuristic amusement park, the Westworld, where the visitors explore the robots. However, things slip out of hand when the automatons begin to malfunction, causing disasters.

Wrap Up

Though the creators have not given much of the show’s plot and story, from the trailer released on May 10, 2022, you can expect tons of excitement, thrill, and suspense. As you can identify the ominous tune of “perfect day” by Lou Reed playing in the background in the trailer, an unknown voice says that the place is wild.

The wait is not long to find out what is going on! The show is set to premiere on June 26, 2022, on HBO and you can watch Westworld in New Zealand with a workable VPN.

We highly recommend ExpressVPN because we have tested it to watch HBO in the UK, Canada, and several other regions and it worked every time.
