Life in Summer Bay is changing fast, and for John Palmer, it feels like everything familiar is slipping away. With Irene gone and her house up for sale, John is struggling to adjust to a quieter life that suddenly feels too empty.
John Tries to Hide His Emotions
John insists that he is fine, but his friends know better. Since Irene’s departure, he has been spending long hours by the beach, lost in thought. He avoids conversations about his feelings and keeps telling everyone that he is “just getting used to the change.” Beneath his calm attitude, however, there is a sense of loneliness that he cannot quite shake.
