Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day is a Japanese anime series. This series was created by Super Peace Busters back in 2011. Moreover, the series was shot under the special instructions of director Tatsuyuki Nagai. The screenwriter and character designers are Mari Okada and Masayoshi Tanaka, respectively.
This anime series is the story of five childhood companions reunion when the ghost of their dead friends appears, and a sudden surprise forces each of them to confront their guilt over what happened previously and come to terms with the ghosts of their past.
Furthermore, the series was produced under A-1 Picture production, and the anime was aired on Fuji TV between April and June 2011. However, on April 16, 2017, the Aniplex of America, just after the anime launch, announced that they would re-release the series with an English dubbing on the Sakura-Con panel.
The series, until now, has received a lot of praise and mainly used two pieces of theme music. The opening music theme was Secret Base and was released on December 21, 2011.
