Set in the 1970s Bollywood, Ranjish Hi Sahi takes a deep dive into the entertainment industry of the yesteryear while focusing on a struggling film director named Shankar Vats, who embarks on a life-changing extra-marital affair with a top actress named Aamna Parvez.
